We are now deep into the Brock Purdy experience, but I didn’t want this 49ers moment to not get a spot on this blog because I love it SO much. Dre Greenlaw is having an amazing season at linebacker, and intercepted Tom Brady on Sunday. And then…he had the stones to go ask Brady to autograph that ball. And Brady did! Also, look at how Greenlaw is talking to and looking at Brady - he idolizes the guy, and tells Brady he’s been watching him since he was “two years old.” Amazing, amazing stuff.
Like others, I got excited by the ChatGPT bot. If you don’t know what this is, it describes itself as “a language model trained to produce text. ChatGPT was optimized for dialogue by using Reinforcement Learning with Human Feedback (RLHF) – a method that uses human demonstrations to guide the model toward desired behavior.” Fun! So I gave it a whirl, and my biggest takeaway is … the ChatGPT bot doesn’t really have a good sense of humor and is frighteningly resistant to taking a hard stand.
Way to take a stand, ChatGPT.
Without spoilers, I will say I very much enjoyed the finale of White Lotus, and look forward to future seasons. I’ll try to do a “My Favorite TV Shows” list next week if I can get around to it. This moment SLAYED me.
My understanding is that the person in this video is waking up from some anesthesia which explains a few things, but as this is from r/unexpected I must say it absolutely lived up to the billing. (I tried very hard to embed this into this page but I guess Reddit and Substack aren’t buddies yet.)
Probably not a great idea to jump on Twitter and say, “I don’t think I’ll be arrested” at ANY time, but the fact that he was in fact arrested just hours later makes the whole Sam Bankman-Fried experience just delightful.
