Hermey The Elf Is Your Leader In The Clubhouse

After the first two rounds of The Open Championship (aka The British Open), the leader is Brandt Snedeker, a delightful always smiling guy who just went bonkers on Friday, moving to -10 under par.

Like I said, he's a delight! And a darn good golfer at that. 

But after seeing this photo or ones like it while I watched The Open tonight (yes, I taped the second round of the Open and watched almost all of it even knowing the results, and yes I might like golf a little too much), I couldn't think of anyone except ... Hermey. Hermey the Elf, from Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer. (Or, Hermie, as I'd thought his name would be spelled. Nope.)

It's not just me, right?
