Oh, Happy Day!
It's nice when bad things happen to bad people:
Clemens to Be Indicted for Perjury in Doping Testimony
Do steroids cause a loss of a neck? Or just a lot of pizza?
Federal authorities have decided to indict Roger Clemens on charges of making false statements to Congress about his use of performance-enhancing drugs, according to two people briefed on the matter. [/snip]
The indictment comes nearly two and half years after Clemens and his former trainer Brian McNamee testified under oath at a hearing before the House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform, directly contradicting each other about whether Clemens had used the banned substances.
Hey, guess what? Barry Bonds isn't the worst person in baseball! In fact, a white pitcher from Texas seems to have done largely the same things, and is still worthy going to the Hall of Fame...! Folks who repeatedly want to make Bonds the picture of steroids continue to have more obstacles placed in their way.
More fun with Clemens:
