The Giant Pool of Money

It's pretty much always a good idea to listen to This American Life, but I hadn't heard their recent (May 9) episode called “The Giant Pool of Money” until this weekend. It’s about the housing crisis, and they do a fantastic job of not only exploring personal stories related to what’s been going on, but in explaining it in terms anyone can understand. It’s a brilliant show in general, and this episode should be required listening for anyone who thinks they understand what’s happening, what’s going to happen and who cares about those hit hardest by a lot of stupidity, some cavalier attitudes and more than a bit of outright fraud.
Good on ya, Ira Glass. Good on ya.
