Quite literally, the last time we bought paper napkins was December 2017. (I just checked Amazon.) We are almost six years into what we bought. Sure, we also use cloth napkins when we get fancy, but I also gave away several packages during COVID when folks freaked out and bought paper products for reasons I’m still trying to understand.
It’s absurd. I still don’t know what I was thinking - but mostly, it was that I was NOT thinking, and that’s part of what I’m sure makes Subscribe & Save so effective. We have also bought - and I keep saying “we,” but it’s really me - way too much laundry detergent, vitamins and dog treats - but nothing has gotten as out of hand as the napkins, mostly because we bought a lot, but simply don’t use them nearly as fast as Amazon “suggested.”
But folks, I’m here to tell you that we are almost there.
Two. Two packages. There’s a world that’s not too far away when we actually have to buy paper napkins.
And yes, we have gone through all our subscriptions and made the requisite changes. Jeff Bezos can have some of our money, but even we have limits.
