As a City dweller, I appreciate this post. The complaints for both, or either, to me show that no matter what your politics - at the core, people mainly think about themselves, right now. They have a terrible time thinking 'macro' about the good for all, AND about thinking a few years into the future. There's that other park in SF that everyone knows and loves now. Wonder what people thought of that when it was first moving forward?

Perfect note. Yeah folks are always gonna resist change, no matter what. Has to be frustrating! We need Leslie Knope on the case
